The RenaCer Microbubblers are made of
ceramic baked at 1800 degrees which produces smaller pores for smaller
air bubbles. The bubbles produced are a fine mist and can replace
limewood type air diffusers in protein skimmers and other applications
where very fine bubbles work best. The ceramic material will last for
years and will outlast any molded or wood diffuser. Calcium build-up
may be removed by soaking in common household vinegar. The diffusers
come in three sizes and can be attached end to end for bubble curtain
effects. Each unit comes complete with heavy-duty rubber suction cup
and 3/16" tubing barb. These units perform best if used with higher
quality air pumps such as the Rena Air series which operate at higher
