The replacement tubing for the Rena XP Filters consists of two 5 foot lengths. These two tubes are the
original tubing that comes with the XP1, XP3 and XP4.
The inner diameter is 16mm and the outer is 21mm. This is approximately 5/8" id by 3/4" od. This tubing
is specially formulated for use with the Rena Filstar XP filter system. It does not contain any chemicals that
can leech into the tank and cause pollution. The tubing is also formulated with a high silicone content to remain
soft and pliable for a longer period of time while not kinking.

The quick-disconnect Orings prevent leaking around the inlet and outlet stems of the Quick-disconnect unit when inserted into the top of the motor and when the filter is operating. Water leaking from the cord area is a symptom of this problem as is air leaking into the canister when the filter is operating.
