The 9 volt version of the Rena Flow 400 works only with the Rena Mini-Light system which has been discontinued by the manufacturer. This is the original unit that came with the SI-9VK Mini-Light/Pump system sold by Rena and there are no more available.
The RF400B can be used to replace the RF400-9V but you will lose the switch on the cord and the pump must be plugged into a standard wall outlet or extension cord.
The Rena low voltage system is ideal for tabletop fountains, small statuary and container gardens. The light kit includes two-outlet transformer, cord set with switch. Additional cord sets(item ML605-RP) are available separately. The two-outlet transformer is unique and allows the unit to be configured with two lights or two pumps. By having separate components the user is able to replace either light or pump without replacing the whole system. The 10 watt halogen bulb is very bright and will light in all directions. Colored lenses (item ML002 sold separately) and replacement bulbs with glass tube cover (ML001)are also available. The transformer is rated for indoor use but can be used outdoors if the transformer is mounted in a covered area.

This pump has been discontinued by the manufacturer but we have a few left. There are several replacements you should consider, AA65-standard, AA65 with switch and AP85. All of these have flow controls and thin cord.This pump can also be used as a substitute for Rena models RF400S, RF400C, RF400-9V* and PondCare model 95.
Please note that the cord on this pump is listed for indoor use only. If you use this on a version of the pump for outdoor use you are advised to use a GFI (Ground Fault Interrupter) type extension cord or outlet. These will have a reset switch.
